Album: Bhovamania EP by AKA

This past week, AKA released Bhovamania, his most recent album, in Sandton, Johannesburg. His propensity for using autotune made the project quite unpopular.

With his autotune still on, the rapper even went so far as to give thank-you shout-outs. He released a project that was initially billed as an album but was later downgraded to extended play (EP) category.

AKA, also known as the Bhova or the Supa Mega, performed in this set-up on a small platform while rapping over the instrumentals to his own songs.

That is never a smart strategy. In certain ways, the album was influenced by professional wrestling and the yearly pay-per-view event WrestleMania, which is held in the US.
